Yep. I recognize this. They start working really late in the morning. This is something to take into account when you plan appointments. It is useless to plan an appointment before 9.30 a.m. because you will be the only one there...
Cheers, Susan (been there too!)
Hi, my name is Anika and I live in Stockholm Sweden. I lived for a year in Delhi and reading this blog, it seems as if I am not the only one having difficulties understanding Indian English. What a weird accent!! When I worked there I tried to avoid phone calls because I could understand only half of what they were saying. Thank god they invented email!!
Hi Susan, about the working hours. I do know they tend to stay at the office very late in the evening. As they have to commute, especially in Mumbai, people come home very late at night. That explains why they start late in the morning.
